Massive Wildfire in Spain Brought Under Control

Sep.14 — A wildfire in southeast Spain burned more than 9,000 acres of forest, prompting the evacuation of 1,000 people and leading to the death of a firefighter. Regional officials say the fires have finally been brought under control after seven days.
