Minor Sees Europe Hotel Recovery as Asia Stays Closed

Jul.23 — William Heinecke, founder and chairman of Bangkok-based Minor International, which operates 500 hotels worldwide, discusses how the Covid-19 pandemic has been affecting Thailand’s economy, his businesses and the tourism industry. Thailand’s raging Covid outbreak could shave as much as two percentage points off the country’s economic growth this year, a central bank official said Thursday. Heinecke speaks with Haslinda Amin and Rishaad Salamat on “Bloomberg Markets: Asia.”
